Where a loved one has spent some time in a hospital; and may not be quite ready to return to their home, St Kieran's Nursing Home offers full convalescent care.
Our team ensure the resident is taken care of during their stay and allowed to rest and recuperate in our relaxing facility.
Our fully staffed facility can offer an advanced level of care that hospitals don’t have the manpower to provide.
After an operation, a resident is given the time and care required to fully recuperate.
For residents with chronic or debilitating conditions, long-term, 24-hour care may be necessary. This kind of care isn’t possible in a residential property. Our facility offers long-term nursing care.
We offer full day-care, over-night or multi-night respite care.
Our respite residents are given the opportunity to take part in a range of organised social activities. Our respite care allows full-time cares to take a well-earned break.
For individuals who want to remain in their home, we offer short term one-night or multiple-night stays.
To ensure the transition from a home to our facility is as seamless as possible, our Nursing manager liaises with the new residents GP/consultant and an appointed family member. We create a fully customised care plan that includes information on the resident’s medical needs, dietary requirements and the resident’s interests and hobbies.
This individual care plan helps to ease the new resident’s transition into our facility.
